peer pressure

I give in to peer pressure waaay too easily. Two friends mention that I should join Facebook, and my first thought is no way. A few days later and I have joined and also spent way too much time searching for friends to add. No one told me it would be this addicting!

I have a question for all of you who are more computer literate than I .... is there a way to know if people have updated their blogs without individually clicking on each one? That was one of the best Xanga features...you just clicked on subscriptions and whoever had updated came up. Enlighten me please.

Jackson has been sick this week... Monday night Joelle and I had quite the interesting shopping trip as Jack suddenly didn't feel well and screamed for a long long time in the mall....unfortunately, Jon & Jerry had dropped us off and were working, and Jon had my car keys. So we were stuck at the York Galleria until they were finished. When we got home I took Jack's temp and it was 102.3. Wow, who felt like the world's worst mother!!! Last night his temp was back up to 101 but today he seems to be doing much better.

Well I better go make dinner...not sure what we're having yet so I'll see what I can throw together!

hey... i was going to write about this tonite on my blog.. but the short answer is Google Reader. It is amazing! you add subscriptions to any blogs that have RSS feeds... it shows it in the far right corner of the address in any browswer. So once you add a page it will let you know (like an email account) where there is "unread" information there. Then you just click on it. It's amazing!!!!!

yah.. facebook..... =)

I'm slightly embarrassed to admit this, but what in the world is a facebook????

My cousin Kari has a facebook account. I think the major problem with Facebook and even Myspace is that you have to start an account yourself in order to read/search for others. I actually tried Myspace, hated it and deleted my account. (Although I did find several friends from high school and college) There's nothing out there quite like blogger! Hope Jackson's feeling better soon, we've all been sick, too

Hey...my youth group girls got me into facebook. So far all I did was start an account, but I already had a friend request! Sorry Jackson is sick, that is never fun.

as i read your blog my thoughts were: 'yes! i helped rope her into facebook!', 'google reader', and 'definitely not the world's worst mom.' i guess i'm a little late since everyone already said that stuff. the one bad thing about google reader is that i never actually go and comment on people's blogs. still very very handy.

Hey, I want to know the same thing! How can I know if someone posted something new on their blog without checking each and every one? That takes just too much time, especially when you're clicking on their blog and seeing the same thing over and over again! (Like me and many others!) :-) And facebook ~ I started an account, but have done absolutely nothing with it!!! I just have not had the time!

Having sick kids is the worst! you just wish you could take it for them! I can't believe he's walking already, my how time flies. Ellie's not even crawling yet...although i'm no too sad about that fact! I was in your neck of the woods about a month ago...that is if you still live where i knew you to live back in the day.... =)We had a reunion there.

Wow, I completely forgot about the cherries! That is just too funny. Don't feel too bad about not canning yet...we've been married almost 9 years and this is the first time I done anything except applesause(which I do with Mom). The salsa is so easy, just time consuming...there's a lot of tomatoes to cut. I got lucky too, cause I got all my tomatoes from Evie. If you want the recipe sometime let me know. It's really good.
